Yup, so Chris needs a new journal entry. How about we talk about Chris' Web design class? M'kay?

So, the class in it of itself is quite slow. After about six weeks of the course, the most advanced that we have gotten it AP div elements. The majority of the class do (and that's correct grammar by British standards ) not understand this. And it's really not a hard thing--we're working with Dreamweaver, so they (most unfortunately) do not even have to understand a goodly amount of HTML and CSS. I say unfortunately as this is a double-edged sword: it allows neophytes to quickly start up, but it will come to bite you in the ass if there is an error in the coding and you don't have the slightest idea of how to correct it.

Of course, as I do most fortunately know to some small extent what exactly I am doing, I have had a lot of free time over this quarter to experiment with my own designs. So quite recently I have started making my own functional Web sites to help improve upon my skills in aesthetic design, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver, all. In all, I am quite happy with my progress thus far; my graphics skills are fine and dandy and I am really improving my abilities to manipulate Dreamweaver. Now, I've just got to start working on the aesthetics of the sites. The two that I've made so far are nice and all, but quite lacking a professional feel--one that I hope to create in upcoming projects.

So, that's about all that is new in the exciting life of Chris. Oh! He did also made a fun wallpaper from the popular video game Portals' 'Weighted Companion Cube.' I like it. ^_^
